Position Details 

We are hiring several full-time and part-time licensed neuropsychologists to staff our Chicagoland and Minnesota locations. Candidates should have a substantial neuropsychology background including a 2-year post-doctoral fellowship in neuropsychology. Caseloads will be tailored to the clinician’s training and preferences within reason (e.g., pediatric, adult, geriatric). Neuropsychologists are responsible for providing comprehensive evaluations, feedback of results, and various other aspects of the practice. There is also the potential for working with our thoroughly trained technician staff. 

Providers have the choice to work as an independent contractor or an employee. Working as an independent contractor allows for maximum flexibility and reimbursement is above average. Working as an employee is a full-time position with a starting salary of $120k. Provider schedule is created based on provider, office, and technician availability. Our practice is fully equipped with support staff for scheduling and administrative tasks in addition to a knowledgeable billing and coding department.

Position Details

We are currently looking for a full-time psychotherapist or counselor with experience in mood disorders and anxiety willing to work with populations with cognitive disorders (e.g., ADHD, cognitive changes due to medical conditions, etc.). Primary responsibilities would include providing evidence-based interventions and therapeutic aid. Typical presenting problems include the following: ADHD, anxiety, depression, learning disorders, memory loss, and TBIs in addition to a number of other patient needs. Consultation and supervision are available as needed/preferred. This position requires the provider to be a clinical psychologist or LPC and/or LCPC in the State of Illinois with experience in therapy and competence in empirically supported treatments. We are looking for both therapists and counselors for both pediatric and adult age ranges. 

Thomson Memory & Attention employs a strong office staff that works diligently to ensure the provider becomes contracted with insurers, schedules are filled, benefits are verified, and sessions are maximally reimbursed. The practice is structured with the intent that psychologists can focus on providing services rather than administrative tasks.

It is preferred that the provider is willing to split their time between two or more of our locations to maximize scheduling possibilities. The position has both a salaried and an independent contractor contract type to fulfill lifestyle needs, and providers have their choice between a salaried or independent contractor position. The starting salary for a licensed clinical psychologist is $83,000 and for an LPC/LCPC/LCSW is $59,756.

Position Details
We are currently looking for neuropsychology technicians that float between our offices. The primary locations will vary based on provider schedule, but you must be willing to travel. This is a full time position.

The position involves administering diagnostic testing batteries to a wide range of patients under the supervision of one of our neuropsychologists.

Qualifications: A Master’s Degree in psychology, education, or a health-related field is preferred. A Bachelor’s Degree with a psychometrist certification is acceptable in lieu of a Master’s. The candidate ideally has prior healthcare and/or academic experience working with all individuals of all ages from pediatric to geriatric. A pleasant and patient demeanor is essential along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Schedule: The ideal candidate will be available to work up to 5 days per a week, dependent on need, at any of our office locations. Appointment times vary by patient type, but typically begin in the morning and are 3-7 hours in length. Training will occur for the first 4-6 weeks until signed off by lead technicians and trainers.

Compensation: We provide thorough supervision and training with competitive compensation. Pay for a trained technician starts at $20/hour. We adjust compensation competitively according to prior technician and psychometrist experience. For applicants with no previous experience as a technician, training pay starts at $17.50/hour. Once trained, the pay will jump to $20/hour.

We are looking for a candidate who is reliable and can handle a fast-paced work environment. We will handle training the right person. Training for this position will take about a month out of a variety of our offices before transitioning to one of our offices permanently.

Position Details
We are looking for a billing and verifications specialist to handle any and all of the following: Bill Prep, Billing, Verifications, Billing Statements, Referrals, and Authorizations. This person would work out of our Algonquin office.

The position entails and requires the following:

• verify insurance eligibility for upcoming appointments by utilizing online websites or by contacting the carriers directly
• explain coverage to patients via phone and setting up payment plans if needed
• obtain referrals as needed
• answers calls from patients regarding benefits and billing questions
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
• Maintains strictest confidentiality; adheres to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations

Qualifications:

• a minimum of high school diploma or GED
• proficient in computers and relevant software applications and practice management technology
• possession of strong mathematic skills, problem solving skills, and sound judgment
• knowledge of customer service principles and practices
