Dr. Andrea Chalmers-Grosz joined Thomson Memory & Attention as a neuropsychology fellow in 2022. Her primary area of interest is with pediatrics in addition to individuals across the lifespan. Prior to doctoral training, Dr. Chalmers-Grosz obtained her Master’s in Applied Behavioral Analysis and Therapy. She is also a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). She has specialized in working with individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). As a result of her training in behavioral analysis and years of practice, she finds value in utilizing behavioral approaches.
Dr. Chalmers-Grosz’s background is in helping those with disabilities and their families, anxiety, depression, and marital issues. She offers a warm and genuine approach, seeking to help her clients feel comfortable while challenging them to grow. Dr. Chalmers-Grosz welcomes clients from diverse cultures as her upbringing outside of the USA and education in other countries offers a unique addition to her clinical skills. In her free time, Dr. Chalmers-Grosz enjoys hiking, mountain biking with her husband, playing the violin, cooking, learning new languages, and traveling.
